Now that is clearly a joke. Certainly no where near slaughtered. Got a good run I reckon and we also played very well. Will be tough in the heat to keep going.
One where a swan slipped over and got a free yet Dal got hit high and nothing. Swan dump players after every mark or run into them hard and nothing.

Re: saints v swans match thread
Steven, Roo, Blake all awesome. Newnes, Curren and Saunders did some good things. Our rucks move like 35 year olds and handle the footy like 10 year olds.
Re: saints v swans match thread
Positive start. The team is not nearly as bad as many people think. We've been able to compete with the best in most games this year, and often get blown away for one period. That will remedy itself with fitness and experience.
Special mention to Curren.
Say what you will, but this kid will make it.
4 contested possessions so far.

McEvoy has to be he slowest player in the AFL he has taken the mantle from Sandilands ... & it seems Hickey isn't much better !
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

I reckon there were 2 throws leading up to Jack's goal. Happy with the umps so far.

Newnes playing well.
Our two ruckmen are crap, slow and have no idea. What about picking up a tall mobile ruckman for once saints.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Keep some of Blake's DNA to graft onto younger players coming through!
Re: saints v swans match thread
Macca does look slow. Hickey doing some nice tap work. Steven - rivalling Rooey for best player at the club now. Great pressure - small ground suiting them- need to keep it up

Sensational effort by the boys! I thought this would be a daunting game to watch, but so far I'm loving it!!
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!
