Kicking is a disgrace...
Nick Riewoldt should be judged by the abysmal delivery he has to put up with from the midfield group.... In particular one player... Who has had 20 disposals and more than half have not even been to a team mate..
You are not quality, if you can't use the ball effectively....
Clint Jones is scared to kick the footy, and because of that Armitage got smashed....
As we speak, Jack has just booted the ball off the ground, from 1 metre from the boundary line straight OOF.... Not sure how he could or would make that decision??

At least Jack is having a go, should point the finger at blokes who just having a have a crack, Stanley, Sipposs, McEvoy. Jack runs himself into the ground is one of the few players to try and create something.

Re: Kicking is a disgrace...
You are a dud. That's his challenge. The history of the AFL is against him. If you can't kick by age 18, you never will. I think his only option is to do a "Harvey". Although Robert was a better kick, he was not elite. He worked, and worked, and worked on handball. Handball that was twenty or thirty metres - either hand. And he always had his accurate twenty metre kick in the back drawer.BigMart wrote:... if you can't use the ball effectively....

Yeah but you look like a legend if you have a massive pot shot in the 2nd quarter
Re: Kicking is a disgrace...
Here come the muppets...
Please leave StK alone.... We've got excuses...
On Jack
Yes, he does make a massive effort, and that is why he wins the footy so much.... His effectiveness is hurt by atrocious disposal.... And his defensive game...
He's a good player, but people on here need to look at the quality of his touches.... He turns the footy over way too much....
I wish others tried as hard as him
I wish he was better by foot
Then again I wish we were successful, and not defend mediocrity.... Like the cronies....

He's had s*** delivery for a decade.
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

I really like the bullet like pass CJ delivered under immense pressure in the first quarter. Absolute courage to have a crack.

Re: Kicking is a disgrace...
Not so much honour as kick to. We saw last night the value of kicking skills. Our blokes try to kick to Nick but miss him by a mile. That said, I was a bit disappointed in Nick's reaction to Josh's failed left foot kick to him in the first quarter.saintsRrising wrote:If Roo was at the Hawks he would be kicking bags.......their (sic) they can honour leads.

Good for you..
I don't think you know anything about footy, and resort to personal insults...
You an JB and Old Mate should be less concerned with me, and perhaps look at reality.. Oh, and you're a sook...imo

I'm just using a footy forum, for footy comment.... We are allowed to do that, yes?
You don't have to like the comment, you always have the opportunity to debate the issue.... But NO
you're not a teacher, you're a wanker, you're a Tasmanian, you're this, your that... Blah, blah.....
That's all you do? Which is why I don't think you have a footy clue..
I make comments, that's all.....
Like this thread, was the criticism fair? If not, why not debate the issue...
Either you cannot because you're not capable, or it's fairly accurate... Which is it???

Re: Kicking is a disgrace...
It is the usual issue of a young team.
The good kicks do not get enough of it and the poorer kicks get too much of it by comparison.
I would like to think that Jack Steven sorts this out of the pre-season and gets his kicking up to an average level. Considering the pace he kicks it at it is more than acceptable.

Don't defend mediocrity,
We've suffered for too long with this ....
100 goals in 14 games...Lockett is the key
Re: Kicking is a disgrace...
The pace his is at when he kicks, is the issue.... Said it many times... He has only two technical issues.....
Sort them, and he shifts from burgeoning A Grade.... Straight to elite
And correct redeemer.... They sit on Dal for a reason, and BJs loss hurt Dal even more

I'm a fan, alright, a long suffering one (like everyone) who is obsessed with wanting StK to succeed and not be happy with not being great
