no you are wrong. perfectionist tells us he is the worst player to pay for the Saints and is a dud.
Apparently he is just no good.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Jack the giant slayer.

He is getting pretty close to elite as far as I am concerned.
His work rate is as good as anyone's.

Re: Jack Steven's last qrt
Outrageous last quarter and the first saints mid fieder I have seen in 30 years with the ability to burn players with explosive pace and be able to nail goals from the 50 metre mark. Judd like last quarter.
Re: Jack Steven's last qrt
Yes, it was good.... But
Again, how was his first three...... At least try and look at a game in its entirety?!
Overall game, was not A Grade.... Thought he was the 5th best of the mids tonight.... Armitage, Joey, Dal and Lenny were good over 4. Armitage s tackling (like the one that knocked him put and created Jacks goal) was very good.

It's taken a few but I've thought of a name for him, Nitro. Just burns the opposition.
Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"

He is, by far, our most exciting footballer. Pretty sure he was playing with a very sore hip as well.

Is he now our best player?

B&F may determine that, he'd be tracking nicelyEnrico_Misso wrote:Is he now our best player?
Re: Jack Steven's last qrt
3rd best player.... If Dal was more competitive he could be #1 but I don't have him in the top 5
1-Riewoldt..... Easily
2-Montagna
3-Steven
4-Hayes
5-Armitage

Re: Jack Steven's last qrt
I think BigMart was talking about the B&F
Great to see Jack Steven achieving his potential and I reckon he's the sort of player that would love the big stage. When the team needs that something special he seems to find a way to get the goals. Pity the ex coach didn't have much faith in the kid. Would've loved to have seen him in the GF in 2009.
Anyway, was thinking about goalkickers with explosive pace; just go back 10-15 years to see a bit of Aussie Jones. Or...how about one of the greatest ever Saints mids in N.Winmar
Cuz was not only explosive offensively, but also ferocious and Cyril like when he had a chance to lay a tackle
And of course Nicky could nail the goals from 60 without a problem

If he is talking B&F then Jack is winning IMO from Joey and then Rooy but all 3 would be close. Huge gap to the next player. Jack has had a fantastic year and only those looking for negatives could say otherwise.
