Get a grip, this man has class written all over him future captain, kept us in it till half time....

I must need new glasses.
I love the kids work rate, I love his determination, but to me he is completely out of sync...leaps early...and not shaping up as the 'ruckman' I hoped he'd be.
Different story if you want to talk about his effectiveness around the ground.

He seems a better ruckman when he doesn't jump. Just stay on the ground and take position in front of the other ruckman.
And now he's actually getting forward and marking!
However, it's probably not his fault but for the third time this year he was the last man chasing down an opposition goal from a kick in.
It was great leadership pushing Armo off the ground when he'd been ko'd. He was in no condition to stay on. Great game all round.

Ben is a ruckman IMO.
He has great character, and drive...no question.
They need to get him a specialist coach or something, just don't know how he still doesn't have timing after this long.
I'd love to see him start in the 50 next week

Ben is a good Ruckman (couple of poor weeks prior) and does what I like good ruckmen to do, take contested marks...
Centre taps = overrated stat
Only measured stat with no correlation to victory.... It's nice to win them, but even when you do.... Only 15-25% go to advantage....

True but how many premierships have been won without a dominate ruck. Not many.
Also Ben has not statistically improved since 2011 but if he can perform like he did tonight every night, then I wouldn't be on his back

How many premierships have been won without a dominant many positions?! Mids mainly?
Maybe look at correlation of AA Ruckman vs Premiership...
