Heading down to Geelong next week?
I'll be at Geelong for the Saints match next week. Curious as to how many St Kilda fans will be there and where they're sitting.

Re: Heading down to Geelong next week?
It being a night game has proven sufficient disincentive for me to make the long trip down the freeway.
Can anybody tell me when we last beat Geelong at Kardinia Park?

Re: Heading down to Geelong next week?
Will I still be able to get a ticket if I'm not a saints member?
It's usually pretty hard to get tickets to Geelong games when played in Geelong.

Re: Heading down to Geelong next week?
there is still standing room
and reserved seating- just checked
so if you are not a member or have 16 game you should get a ticket--
I did only look for 1 ticket.

Good on any Saints fans to make the trip from
hell to KP.
TV is a far better option IMO unless you're the Doc and live in Catland!

Anyone got a map of Skilled Stadium, it looks as though Bay 1 is in the premiership stand.

Re: Heading down to Geelong next week?
From what I have seen the away supporters are in 2 different areas, bay 11 just behind the goals and bay 1 on Moorabool Street.
Like what Brisbane do, one group down one end and another down the other end, therefore less chanting, noise, atmosphere for the away side.

Remember if the natives start getting a bit mouthy remind them that they are sub-human rednecks and that they should bow down to you as you are not from the stinking cesspit that is Geelong and as such may well have a job.

Re: Heading down to Geelong next week?
If this is a trick question - the last time we beat them at KARDINIA Park was Round 8 1988. We beat them by a goal. The last time we beat them at their home ground in Geelong was Round 10 1999. We beat them by 10 points. We kicked 6 goals in the last quarter to their 1. That's when it was called Shell StadiumSt.Roly wrote:It being a night game has proven sufficient disincentive for me to make the long trip down the freeway.

Don't believe the hype - standing room on sale before match. Just pick them up at the gate an hour before the game starts. They don't publicise it but they are there to be had.thejiggingsaint wrote:sadly, no no ticket, but will be barracking like heck from the lounge-room!!!

Was our next game that year the disaster against Hawthorn where they came back from 69 Pts down?mcadam05 wrote:mambo2706 wrote:If this is a trick question - the last time we beat them at KARDINIA Park was Round 8 1988.
