Tom Lee
Is it just me but i am really happy with this kids game against Freo... definitely a step in the right direction. Probably worth more than 3 games considering who he kicked them against IMO

Wish I shared your optimism.Con Gorozidis wrote:Him and Riewoldt might stretch the Blues this week
Reckon the short break after a big trip and the letdown after being close for most of yesterday might lead to a hiding.
Hope I'm wrong!

Re: Tom Lee
On that form he might make it as a forward. Could've had a couple of extra goals too.
There was a pass from Milera and Lee took the mark on the boundary right on the 50. The stupid ump called play on without giving Tommy time to take a set shot. It may have been deemed that Lee didn't approach on the right angle and that's why the ump called playon, but the effn ump didn't line him up or give him any indication as to the angle so it was the wrong call.
Couple of other chances Tommy may have had a good opportunity was when he found space but the lead wasn't honoured (he didn't spit the dummy btw). Not sure if he would've marked it or even if he would have kicked it straight, but it was good to see him work hard and give himself opportunities.
