Suicide Mission
Should the club play Kosi next week or should his 200th be at home?
Would like it at home. Doesn't deserve to be in a team that will cop a hiding next week for his 200th.
Thoughts?

Lance or James??

Can we really play a witches hat next week on a huge ground?
No, we cannot.
I love Kosi dearly however sheesh...it is not becoming painful.
Re: Suicide Mission
Since we're taking the piss by selecting him in the first place - it's either / or. Take your pick.

Re: Suicide Mission
It is purely a gift anyway, so might as well ask him how he'd like it wrapped I guess…
My guess,
We will lose if Kosi plays next week
We will lose if Kosi doesn't play next week.
Where the f*** are Lee & Hickey? My patience is wearing out on them becoming superstars…

Re: Suicide Mission
I believe he should have been played vary sparingly this year. His recovery is a 2 week job anyway. His body is unable to play two weeks in a row and he certainty cant fly on a plane and then turn around and play.joffaboy wrote:Should the club play Kosi next week or should his 200th be at home?

So based on just that he shouldnt play next week.
My next thought is hes friggin lucky Maister is injured or he would never have got to 200.
So yeah - rest him next week and get him to 200 the following week and just hope Maister and/or Hickey gets back asap cos Kosi is done.

Re: Suicide Mission
In our current situation and with a plane trip to Perth and on a very big ground, give Kosi a rest this week and play Hickey against Freo. Kosi has earned his 200th at Etihad.

Re: Suicide Mission
Certainly doesnt deserve to play. Wait until he plays well at Sandy and if that doesnt happen which I would think highly probable then play him in the last game of the year.

Re: Suicide Mission
He deserves his 200th game, but he needs to show that he wants it. He didn't show anything yesterday. Must to go back to Sandy and find some form.

Re: Suicide Mission
Kosi, Blake and Milne will probably all end up on ice until round 23 - playing Freo at jihad - even Lyin will be coaching so it will be poetry. Could be Lenny's last game as well. Big match - wouldn't want to be a Freo needing a win to make top 4.
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

We are saving Hickey and Lee for next year. They will come good. Not sure if at St. Kilda or Sandy though.

Re: Suicide Mission
Waiting until the last game isn't a good idea as he will probably be injured and then he never gets there. Wait for him to hit some sort of form in the mcgoos and then stick him in for a match in Melbourne.plugger66 wrote:Certainly doesnt deserve to play. As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Im a nobody on a footy forum. Anyone who says he deseves to play after his 2 games back either hasnt watched the games or has no knowledge of footy. So there you go. I, a no body, say he should be dropped next week. Wow fancy saying that on a footy forum.

Re: Suicide Mission
It was sad to see Kosi in "action" yesterday. There again it was sad to see MOST of the old guard in "action" yesterday I reckon we need to give the guy some respect for what he's put in for the club over the term of his career with us, and that should mean selecting him ON MERIT. In my opinion Kosi should consider the retirement option along with Lenny Hayes, Blakey and Milney and the club should provide the last home game as an opportunity for us to express our appreciation of these loyal warriors of our cause. AND, you never know; the emotion and atmosphere could be enough to get us over the line against the Frockers.
St Kilda forever ( God help me)
