He looks the goods at times, but just does not contest hard enough for 4 quarters. We could do worse.

 Yes, but I am not sure how we would use him.
Could he be a KPD?

He looked a million times better than I have seen him before. Neeld must have destroyed his confidence. Doesn't have the killer drive but would be a handy CHF post Roo. I would prefer Stringer from the Dogs still though- he has the killer drive and will be a super star.

He's more Fiora just doesn't want it bad enough. Heaps of wasted talent it looks like.

Possibly will go down as the worst number one in the history of the draft system. Should be made to pay money back. That sounds strong but I only have contempt for the Melbourne players at the moment because I think they are getting off so lightly at the moment. Neeld being sacked just gives the players a little more cover to hide and an excuse.

I can't understand how Nic Nat was Number 2 behind him... Jack must have killed it in front of the selectors.

Well put. Couldnt believe how the commentators pumped them up. I used to think Jack Watts was unfairly maligned until I watched him today. When he threw himself forward in the contest today a laughed so hard, and he just couldnt kick goals when given the opportunity. I also commented today that I wondered what Melbourne was going to do next week to get themselves up. Sack another coach.

A mates nephew played at the Dragons with him and said he would have taken Tommy Lynch over him because he was a lazy but talented type that everything came so easy he didn't need to work for it. I have remembered it and it's been pretty spot on so far. He did a little Awww and pretended to punch his hand after he missed a set shot but he looked like he was smiling and was doing it for dramatic effect. He looks like he smokes too much dope- looks away with the fairies.

Watts is a GOP..some years there are countless great players lining up to be drafted...some years there are very few......Melbournes picks have lined up in the few era..

Too bad :o :o :o :o :o :o

Season 2024 is where RTB is showing the footy world his grasp of the modern game.

Ask yourself this question: if he wasnt a 1st round draft pick would we even be talking about him?

I'd rate Jeremy Howe higher than Watts!

Thought he was average in the game. Struggled on a defender he should have beaten easily. Dropped a couple easy ones. Would take him for a later pick but Melbourne would never give him up for that.

He will never make it playing that soft brand of football. This isn't under 18s.

Definitely not. Both of his goals were from frees which made him look better than what he was. Soft at the footy and looks lazy, I will never understand why Melbourne fans get so excited every time he touches the footy.
