Jesse Hogan - breaking my own rule
I've said before that i don't think a club should ever trade away its first round draft pick unless the offer is exceptional. I hear that Jesse Hogan wants out of Melbourne.
If this is true, i would consider offering #3 or #4 (or whatever we end up with) in this rare circumstance. He looks like being the next superstar forward of the game.
Thoughts?

Re: Jesse Hogan - breaking my own rule
If he does in fact want out of the Melbourne Football Club then he probably wants out of Victoria and out of an uncompetitive side.
Looks like we're well placed then.

How the hell would anyone know if Hogan wants out of Melbourne...
Completely fabricated rubbish that is merely taking up vital internet space...

No-one said it was anything other than a rumour. Conjecture only. The kind of banter that's perfectly acceptable on internet forums - if that's okay with you Your Majesty?Sobraz wrote:How the hell would anyone know if Hogan wants out of Melbourne...

Melbourne may as well shut up shop and go fishing if they find a way to lose Hogan.

No, if this kid was on the table you would trade your first pick in a heartbeat. He's possibly the new Lockett.plugger66 wrote:No but id give a second rounder and Ray.

Possibly - now that's the kind of certainty I'm looking for. How about we take hogan and as payment we take watts too?

Having sat behind a member of the football department at Sandy last week and heard his commentary to an assistant coach about Hogan I doubt we would give an early draft pick for him.

Well, GWS have Patton, Cameron and maybe Buddy, Dees have Hogan, Clark and Dawes. If we had pick 3, he would be a chance, no way would he get past Lions or Dogs though and Lions may get pick one for Berger.southernsaint wrote:Just two words for you.....TOM BOYD
Either way, if he was available at our pick those numbers would be read out pretty damn quickly
