Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
I think Watters will just keep picking those who go well at Sandy (though last week's VFL game wouldn't have helped anyone's case for a call up). Apparently Lee, Ledger, TDL, Saunders and Dunnell did have reasonable games, and one or two of those will come in and I expect Maister and Jones will come in, Siposs, Ferg, Saad and one more to go out.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Ferguson will be the difficult decision this week. His first game could best be described as a disaster. Do we persist? Or do we send him back to Sandy to re-gain confidence? He might be spared and given another chance as West Coast has a Very Tall Forward Line.
Aside from him, TDL, Ledger & Lee appear to be the ONLY players worthy of promotion from last week's VFL game (from what I have read, I didn't see the game). So, who goes out? Using the "Like for Like" philosophy, Lee might replace Siposs and either TDL or Ledger could replace Saad. I would like to see Ledger get a run as he has shown at VFL level that he can play in the midfield AND go forward and kick goals, something our side desperately needs !!

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Out: Saad, Siposs, Hickey
In: Dunell, Lee, Kosi/Maister
One of Kosi or Maister need to play to get some sort of structure up forward.
See if Lee can give more as the third forward than Siposs.
Saad needs a couple of weeks in the VFL to get some confidence back. Dunnell should offer more on a flank, and can be a leading target across half forward with his good hands if WC defenders get on top of Roo etc.
Ferguson I would have left out, but WC have a tall forward line so he gets a reprieve. Hopefully he will be better for the run.
Problem with this lineup is defence in the forward line. Dunell has a bit of hustle, but Milney really need to be switched on.

Would love Wright to play but he was severely rooted at the end of the game.
Lets hope Watters is bold enough to make a whopping 3 changes in one week

Don't need to play for the coach, need to show some passion and play for the jumper ie. Fisher, Dal Santo etcbigcarl wrote:Out: Anyone who is not playing for the coach.

If they are not playing for the coach they are not playing for the jumper or the supporters.mightysainters wrote:Don't need to play for the coach, need to show some passion and play for the jumper ie. Fisher, Dal Santo etcbigcarl wrote:Out: Anyone who is not playing for the coach.

Keep Ferg in I reckon. Wouldnt be on his pat having a shocking first game and would be good to give him a chance to redeem himself.Bernard Shakey wrote:Out

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Out: Players that can't produce the same intensity and effort that was shown from round 5 to 7...where is that team?
In: Players that work hard for a whole game and show consistency from week to week.
Interesting that most want two forwards out in Sadd and Sippo. Didn't we get smashed last week in the middle?

Really throw out west coasts balance... They'll never be able to man up 5 small forwards.

I think you'll find that Schneider has had another set back with his hamstring and is another 2-3 weeks away !!dragit wrote:Out: McEvoy, Hickey, Riewoldt
