Stanley may just not be good enough in any position. he is an athlete butim unsure he is a footballer. he isnt a great forward so playing him back is probably where we need him at the moment. The problem is he actually looks slow unless he runs in a straight line.

Think the jury's still out to be honest.
The injuries over the first few seasons haven't helped things. People say he's never done much as a forward and while that may be correct, this is the first time he's been able to put a decent patch of games together.
If he could play a dozen or so consecutive games as a forward then we'd at least have a better idea.
