Doc Larkins juuust said concussion and suspected broken jaw. Grabbing teeth as he did is a tell tale sign. Getting scan tonight I think?? He said.

Disagree sorry. Thought it was weak as pizz.shmic_s wrote:Don't think it was a 'low' act by Eddie. Should get a short break though IMO.

Re: Wrights injury ?
(A little uncomfortable defending an umpire, but) I was watching Chamberlin immediately after the hit, and he was clearly talking into his microphone, so at the least he was probably having it noted that the incident should be reviewed by the MRP, which is something the umpires now commonly do as opposed to always laying a report. Having said that, the hit was late, and IMO warranted an on-field report.
Re: Wrights injury ?
What about the obvious part, a downfield free kick? Stanley had one paid against him that resulted in a shot at goal and that wasn't a late push either!

Re: Wrights injury ?
Haven't seen the replay but it was right in front of us and we all thought it was a headbut. Doesn't matter it was so late and Betts so obviously went in with intent that he must get two weeks.

Yep, I reckon that's when they managed to crack our defence. Clearly unsettled us.
