We could do no better.
You're critical to selling a vision to the broader market. You're critical to connecting with new fans and sponsors, reaching out to existing ones, re-invigorating lapsed members/sponsors and generally showing the world (including broadcasters and prospective players) that the club is moving in the right direction.
It's a vitally important role in the AFL world.
There's no need for unnecessary bells and whistles, but it's a public position and you should be always endeavoring to put yourself out there and getting the 'Saints' name in the public domain.
If someone like Eric Bana wanted to get involved, I'd certainly listen.

makes the ultimate football and financial decisions?
Is available 24/7 to be called in?
I don't think Bana would be very good for St Kilda in that role, a more visible and active roles yes but not president
