Yes, there is.

With Stanley likely to take either Witts or Lynch, getting some rebounding run from him in the back half will be important. Definitely a challenge for Stanley.

We could have perhaps brought in a couple of more players who can add pace and who carry the ball or have exceptional kicking skills (such as Webster) - to see if we could exploit the Pies lack of spread and pace around the middle.

Shenton on O'Brien (someone of similar size) would also have been interesting.
O'Brien is hopeless/gets panicky under pressure... other teams put him under a lot of pressure for that reason.

I think it will be close.

Sydney flooded last week, nothing to do with the conditions.

An unexpected win will come soon enough

honestly i cant see us winning and sadly i can see us getting flogged more realistically than not ... i think we can match it with collingwood and we prob will for most of the game but if we have a one qtr sleepy session like we have every week so far then i can see them putting the foot to the throat ....

normally im pretty optimistic but i have a feeling this game will have the media writing us off

If Collingwood go TOO tall, then it might end up like this..

Are they the kind to be stung though?

Reckon their "heart" is still missing, Ball and Maxwell

by that you mean their heart (Ball) and their stand around pointing fingers (maxwell) is still missing

Unfortunatley i think its a bit ominous tonight.
Of course Rooey will do the usual things, and let hope he gets backed up tonight.
6 games in and a few of the newer blokes need to make a stand and show us their worth.
As most games go,its always the same old same old players,so i would like to see the newbies shine
and not just make up numbers.
there bigger bodied than us,alot taller so watters will have his hands full.
Hope Cloke doesnt have a good one or Lynch, but they seem a good forward combo.
Can Rooey and Kosi really shine tonight??
I hope so

I think they both (and Beams who is another tough nut) embody the shepherding, blocking, 1% work that the Pies have been lacking...

heres the fear i have ... Roo played like a man possesed last week i fear he may push it to far to try and drag the team over the line he need to make sure he doesnt over do it and risk an injury

He's had 8 days to recover. IMO he just won't push himself to the limit tonight. I'm not concerned about injury risk though.

Seriously though, the boys were up and about last week and the nice slippery conditions brought Sydney down to our level.

I cant see with so many newbies in that we can be up two weeks in a row.

The dry Etihad surface will suit the Pies, and with Jolly and big Witts in together with Lynch and Cloke they'll kill us in the air.

I'm a bit worried TBH.
Looks like you were wrong again... What a turn up.

We lost, but were definitely not flogged.
