Well for the first time in living history and without the excuse of either illness or other major social engagement, I am for the first time refusing to attend a football game.

And anyone who knows my devotion to the St Kilda Football Club know , I never ever miss a game in Melbourne and have not done so in decades.

But last year's game at the MCG against those vile and repulsive supporters made me realise not only does it bring out the worse behaviour in them, but it brings out the worse in me, and the best thing is to avoid the situation and stay away.

A Collingwood home game at Etihad Stadium means it will be wall to wall vile replusive CFC supporters, and therefore stay home and Channel 7 will be lucky if they recieve my one rating point beyond half time.

I am so over having to face up to a game dreading both the actual game and the supporters that surround us and being fearful of which feral is going to get upset not only me but other Saints supporter.

And if someone from the club or the AFL reads this, I hope they consider this as one of the reasons for the overall decline in attendances no matter what the AFL says attendances are declining.

So I apologise for not attending but last year was "The line in the Sand" and others in our little group agreed.

So go the mighty Saints, beat those mongrels on both sides of the fence and give them some of their own medicine.

I didn't realise it was a pies home game !

They've got 60 or 70 or 80 thousand members !
Why aren't we playing them at the G ?

The Pies have to play 4 games a year at Etihad.

We don't draw that well - perhaps 55K or slightly more at the G.

At Etihad it will be only 10K less.

Same reason as to why the Cats play us at Geelong this year.

Dont see why people think they have to justify the reason why they go, honestly. If people are going to pot you then they can get stuffed

Gee, the pies won't know what to do with themselves not playing in front of 70+ thousand at the 'G for the first time in a month.

I just got home from the country and didn't get back in time. I wish I was there to see the baby Saints make the Pies cold.

I had a filth supporter crapping on today about how young the filth is because they have 2 debutants, I would have thought we have the more players under 10 games

Not a lot, but crowd wasn't that bad behavior wise, maybe out of their comfort zone or the police patrolling the aisles

Wonder if the lip readers can figure what the lady behind milney was saying? Some words very noticable even though she tried to hide it

As that is the usual abuse that is thrown at Milne, is that not proof the vilification against Milne continues?

I hope she's proud of herself but has some kind of skill in dealing with the national humiliation she's bought upon herself.

Milne missed the set shot because the fat cow sat down too quick,
and caused a localized earth tremor and crust displacement.
