Re: Final Team vs Sydney
Ray has been far from our worst and Siposs if fit should be playing. Good to see some new blood though. Kosi in is laughable. Terrible selection.
Are we waiting for a saviour?
I'm so sick of waiting!

I rather Siposs than Kosi. What's the point of playing two young kids and put in kosi ahead of sippa

Can't play them all at once. Think they have made a statement.noob wrote:I rather Siposs than Kosi. What's the point of playing two young kids and put in kosi ahead of sippa

Siposs has withdrawn 3 weeks now isn't it?noob wrote:I rather Siposs than Kosi. What's the point of playing two young kids and put in kosi ahead of sippa
I'd say he has a lingering niggle.

It's what you think of isn't it...hope not.
One of those times it would be handy if Atillia still posted, not so much to goss, but to tell us if he's OK.

Re: Final Team vs Sydney
Happy with that
We need some run - Sippos doesn't provide that and should really earn a call up by getting it more than 7 times
Happy Ross, Saunders Murdoch, Lee all get a run. Result doesn't matter - effort and seeing some kids do well matters now
TDL would wanna step up

Murdoch - Solid flanker who played mainly as a medium forward in junior footy however is capable of playing in the back half

Thanks. I know they are a couple of skinny kids, but that is about all.Old Mate wrote:Saunders - Hardworking in and under and pacy midfiedler

Re: Final Team vs Sydney
Kosi's selection is fair. Mumford and Pyke are big bodied. McEvoy can't possibly take on both of them, and Hickey would get hammered physically.
This is the largest group of inexperienced players we've had on the park since 2003
Lee 1 game
Saunders 0
Murdoch 0
Wright 2
Ross 2
Saad 20
Stanley 25
Dennis-Lane 21
Roberton 41
That's 111 games between 8 players
Highly unlikely we'll win against such a big-bodied experienced team in wet and windy conditions. If we can just look competitive with that line-up I'll be happy. However, we need to be prepared for the distinct possibility of a pasting.

Re: Final Team vs Sydney
I suppose Kosi is in as back-up for Big Ben. Disappointed with this selection. Would rather see Hickey get a go. Can't see the point of playing Koschitzke.
Re: Final Team vs Sydney
Good to have young kids but way over the top IMO. 2 of the those kids are off a 4 day break. How unfair is that. One will obviously be sub but that side is going to really struggle. Siposs had to play. he is obviously fit or he wouldnt be over there. And then we pick all young guys and still play Kosi. Call me a cab this one is over. Sorry for being negative but I am confused.

Re: Final Team vs Sydney
Kosi will obviously play back up ruck and be planted in the goal square, why some here may be disappointed in his selection, let's hope he has a good game.
All the best for the debutants. think Stanley will go down back to CHB, or FB.

Re: Final Team vs Sydney
It's high risk playing 5 guys who've played 5 games between them. Watters must be developing some strong opinions regarding some senior players.

I'm with you. Would have liked to see Hickey get another crack as I feel he has a big futurest.byron wrote:I suppose Kosi is in as back-up for Big Ben. Disappointed with this selection. Would rather see Hickey get a go. Can't see the point of playing Koschitzke.
Re: Final Team vs Sydney
Agree I think it is over the top, too many young players. Don't mind the Kosi selection though.

Re: Final Team vs Sydney
Tipping Ross to shine if conditions are poor... seems to like the wet where pace is not such an issue
