Dempsey v Saad
Not sure if this was asked on any previous post, but has any heard anything about what was said?
Saad seems a very placid kind of guy but didn't appreciated whatever it was that Dempsey said.
I've heard it was racial and if so I'd be disappointed if the Club didn't take it further. If the shoe, or boot, was on the other foot I'm sure we'd hear about an Indigenous player being aggrieved.

well...he said something...maybe it was about his goal kicking style.....Viking3 wrote:Not sure if this was asked on any previous post, but has any heard anything about what was said?

Re: Dempsey v Saad
Wouldn't think so. If Saad didn't already know how funny it looks I'd be surprised. I'm sure Milney et al would be taking the pyss of of him regularly!!stinger wrote:well...he said something...maybe it was about his goal kicking style.....Viking3 wrote:Not sure if this was asked on any previous post, but has any heard anything about what was said?

Re: Dempsey v Saad
There were hints on bigfooty that he may of said something pretty ordinary, but you'd think an investigation would of been launched if true.
Dempsey should shut his mouth, Milne in some trouble for trying to shut it for him.

Re: Dempsey v Saad
that was a light hearted post...actually i would be really disappointed if it was a racial remark...as would all of us be.......Viking3 wrote:Wouldn't think so. Re: Dempsey v Saad
Milne copped a jumper punch to the chin, I also saw what looked like someone kicking him where it hurts.dragit wrote:Any suspensions out of the game?
There were some pretty poorly disguised jumper punches going on, wouldn't surprise me if a few get a week or 2.
He also was doing strange pressure points to Dempsey though, not his best move.
Re: Dempsey v Saad
I thought Dempsey's antics throughout the game were disgraceful...
Seems like a real flog of a bloke...
Refuses to put his head over the ball to top it off..

I was on the other side of the ground, it looked bad enough from there, but golly.
we could see a few trhings cited, it was a pretty massive melee
i did notice BJ trying to get bombers players away from ours… def still has a saints heart
Re: Dempsey v Saad
We missed Bakes. He would've taken Dempster out of the game and likely a few more as well.

Re: Dempsey v Saad
How can Dempsey not get a fine for the melee?? Him bumping Saad after that shot for goal started the whole thing - without his actions there would have been no melee.
