Armo's best game for St. Kilda?
4 goals and 31 possies is Gary Ablett like.
I can't recall him playing better than he did yesterday.

Just a good player
It takes games to get to your optimum level.
His Game in 2009 with 25 a goal and 10 tackles vs Haw was also top shelf
Leading the B&F after 3 ..... It'd be nice if he could maintain

Has been great in 2 games. Jack and Armo need to play as well next week against experienced players.

No knock on Armo who is a real up and comer, but let's see him do the same against Essendon this week and I'll start singing hs praises. It's one thing to monster under age teams like GWS, it's another against hardened players like Jobe Watson for example.
Speaking of hardened players a few of ours are going to have to lift for us to be competitive over the coming weeks.

Aggree with the all of the above. He has to pull a performance like that out against a good team and he has set himself up for the challenge perfectly with us meeting Needle Nudgers this week.

I'm loving his second efforts whereby he contributes to a contest in the midfield and then pushes hard forwad to present as an option.

Re: Armo's best game for St. Kilda?
Prior to this season Armo had 7 Brownlow votes, as has Schneids and Farren Ray. Jack has 3 and Big Ben has 1. A lot of highly thought of Saints players have none. Armo would have added about 4 brownlow votes so far this season. I think very highly of him, he is going to be a star for us.

Armo has 16 Brownlow votes including 9 from last season.

Re: Armo's best game for St. Kilda?
I would like to see Armo have a blinder vs decent opposition. This week is your chance Armo!

If it was so easy.... Why didn't everyone dominate if it was easy?

Look, it's good to see Armo coming through but, let's face it, it will mean more against real opposition.

we won by twelve goals and it could have been 16 if we'd kicked straight.BigMart wrote:If it was so easy.... Why didn't everyone dominate if it was easy?
His best ever game was four long years ago, against the Hawks in Launceston. He was awesome that day.

True,I'm sure the bombers are worried about him,he's slowly coming into his own.Furphy wrote:If Armo can repeat that performance against Essendon on Saturday that will really be Ablett like!

Did Lyin drop him as a reward the following week?samuraisaint wrote:we won by twelve goals and it could have been 16 if we'd kicked straight.BigMart wrote:If it was so easy.... Why didn't everyone dominate if it was easy?

Re: Armo's best game for St. Kilda?
Nope. He played the next week against Essendon and had 7 touches and 3 tackles, though he also kicked a couple of goals. From memory I think he was moved to the forward line. Then he played the week after against North and had 18 touches and 13 tackles! But we lost, and then he was dropped.saintspremiers wrote:Did Lyin drop him as a reward the following week?samuraisaint wrote:His best ever game was four long years ago, against the Hawks in Launceston. Makes sense to drop him making a silly 13 tacklesbergholt wrote:Nope. He played the next week against Essendon and had 7 touches and 3 tackles, though he also kicked a couple of goals. He played a really top game. Agree up there with best. But just don’t like it being with GWS as I want to see him do it against decent opposition.saintspremiers wrote:4 goals and 31 possies is Gary Ablett like.

Re: Armo's best game for St. Kilda?
He looks fit this year and it's showing in his performance. He is Lenny like at times - hard as a cats head and combative but finds the goals better. I think he is going to be elite by the end of the year.
