Re: VOTES
5 players that I was impressed with with a flavour of the next generation. These will be my votes.
5 - Stanley.
I'm loving this CHB role. He has been reading the play, can run it out as well. Marks too.
4 - Newens.
Can see he can kick it well. Kicks to advantage and cleanly when he has time.
3 - Roberton.
Straight swap for winmar and similar age? Can't argue with that selection so far even though its early still.
2 - McEvoy dominating.
1 - Milera.
5 - Stanley.

Gilbert - 4
Joey - 3
Roberton - 2
Roo - 1
Schnieds almost won us the game with his sub effort. And if we were able to give votes to a bloke in flouro he'd get all 15 such was his influence...

Re: VOTES
I really agree with your voting system. Roo could easily be in the votes but I think it is time to score the players that might be part of our next flag tilt...oh yes! there will be one.Spinner wrote:5 players that I was impressed with with a flavour of the next generation. These will be my votes.

Re: VOTES
Jack Steven was BY FAR one of our better players on Friday night. Were most of you people smoking pot?

Never have. My loss.Sainternist wrote:Jack Steven was BY FAR one of our better players on Friday night. Were most of you people smoking pot?
I'm a Jack Steven fan, and he was ok. He was tagged I think someone said, so that reduced his effectiveness. There were 9 Saints players with better Supercoach scores. Not the ultimate arbiter I know, but an indicator.

5 - Steven
4 - McEvoy
3 - Riewoldt
2 - Stanley
1 - Gilbert
Steven was by far our most effective midfielder. His clearance work was brilliant and he collected the ball at pace rather than standing still and handballing to no one like most of our mids. He had fewer possessions than others but had a much, much bigger influence on the game than Dal or Joey, who did nothing with the ball.
