Re: BT taken to task
BT is a reflection of the standard of most mainstream commercial media which unless you're brain dead is mostly sh!t and a complete waste of time.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

Re: BT taken to task
I always liked BT - insightful, witty, good commentator
then all of a sudden he became really popular and changed his style... rather than focus and commentate on the game he's started trying to be funny, making up nicknames and trying to be super-exciting WOWEEEE
He did better on MMM where he focused more on footy

Worst commentator in football at the moment by a long way.......Sorry BT but you are worse then Kelli Underwood.

Re: BT taken to task
He tries way too hard and relies on cliches way to much. As has been said he dribbles more shite and gets players names wrong more than any commentator ive ever heard. I also quite liked him before he got popular and famous. He focused on the game and called the action, he wasnt trying to be a WWE commentator. The "Big Boy" nickname and his constant reminding us that Jack Steven comes from "down the great ocean road" makes me want to throw a brick through the TV.

He also has an obsessiion with barrel chests matrix.
I blame brayshaw, he started the trend of saying nicknames 100 times a match.
Recent media aquisitions...
Richo tick
Ling tick
Harley tick
Mooney as a boundary rider, reluctantly tick
Mark Stevens as media man, reluctant tick
Barry cross
Darcy cross
Basil cross
King cross
I know i say it a lot, but foxtel trialled Tristan foenander and Nathan Thompson last year and they were fantastic....channel 7 should of picked them up

In a way but have their fair share of areas to improve.
As I said, don't like "the analyst" David king, tony shaw, dwayne, Bazza, or roos calling swans matches

I find your signature very offensive, but I heard a different version:

Re: BT taken to task
Did anyone catch Richo's response to BT during the Tigers-Carlton match? They showed footage of malthouse & Judd near the Carlton bench, and they were in deep "discussion" BT says to Richo: "what d'you think Mick's saying to Juddy? Richo" Richo just said "I wouldn't have a clue, I can't lip read" I almost choked on me drink! Richo delivered the line with such a dry manner. BT (of course ) carried on with his prattling!
St Kilda forever ( God help me)

Re: BT taken to task
He needs to tone it down in more ways than one. What is it with this footy commentary style of shouting hyperbole and howling like dogs on heat? Unfortunately, BT is not the only offender in this regard.
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!
Re: BT taken to task
Makes me chuckle from time to time, needs to sharpen up on his player ID I agree, I can live with him.
Maybe this year?
