I don't care what they wear at training either, but the thing is, they are trying to sell the training jumper to us.

Seriously, they would be lucky to sell about three of those monstrosities. The mark-up on merchandise is huge, and a decent design would bring revenue to the club. The fact that they are out of ideas is why they have just held a competition to design the NAB cup jumper for next year. Not only will this yield a design for the preseason, but 500+ other unsuccessful entries all of which have assigned IP to the club (as required in the terms and conditions). That's ten years worth of decent ideas for training jumpers - for free - right there.

I don't understand why they stopped selling the long sleeves guernseys. I would buy one if they sold them.

i love how vibrant and striking it is (the top, not fraser). take away the heritage logo, and that is a 10/10 for me. would love that as our home jumper instead of this wet-suit lookin' thing (which is still a decent top).

This is what our clash jumper should be.
White back, white trim, white shorts.
Nobody will ever confuse us on the field.
For everyone, it actually is St Kilda's actual jumper.

Please can we just keep on campagning for this.

Well Mr Avid, in this example the pasty skin you previously referred to has been replaced by young, luscious, healthy, glowing, tanned, feminine skin, which leads to a colour combination of Red, Black & Brown.  Which of course are not traditional St Kilda colours.

But I've studied this picture many, many, many times. At different times of the day and under different lighting conditions. I've even looked at it a couple of times with my pants on. And while the outfit does lack some white I'm happy to report that it falls within the well established tolerances known as "who gives a?"



For completeness sake I should state the the same outfit shown here would have a far more traditional St Kilda look if it were worn by Magda Szubanski. That would be better....

I like the Heritage jumper alot, it will be good when we beat Carlscum again in our 140th year anniversary match.

If anyone wants one, I just found some (2012) long sleeve jumpers available on eBay for $55, all sizes available too.

I like training jumper. It look like grand design from great maestro artist Pablo Picasso. After training we all have nice wine and cheese, yes? VERY NICE. Heritage look like we become pirate. All we need is player called Sullivan to help Gilbert perform Pirates of Men's Pance.
