Be nice to know so I can find some fellow saints fans to sit with.
I am staying overnight and at 2.00pm the next day I'm doing this:-

So looking forward to this.

canberra's my home town so hoping to see a lot of saints with me cheering the boys on. 3rd gen the zoo is really good and if you have any time i reccommend the national gallery as well, munch, warhol, pollack etc very fine institution.
This was my father's belief

And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge

Yep a road trip has been scheduled in.
Heading up to Wodonga on the Friday to stay with family then continuing on Saturday morning. Probably head back late on Sunday afternoon/evening.

You're coming to Canberra to see a cheetah, 3GS? We're playing GWS, not Essendon.3rd generation saint wrote:Be nice to know so I can find some fellow saints fans to sit with.

I liked Roskilde, though to be fair I never saw much of the town itself, just that huge paddock where they pack 100k plus people in once a year for the festival. What's with burning the tents at the end, though?kosifantutti wrote:So Roskilde is not your home town.roskilde wrote:canberra's my home town so hoping to see a lot of saints with me cheering the boys on. 3rd gen the zoo is really good and if you have any time i reccommend the national gallery as well, munch, warhol, pollack etc very fine institution.

Re: Anyone going to Canberra?
Living in Canberra until June, Stinger. Consulting up here, but I'll be more than happy to get home permanently. It'll be good to watch the saints live up here. Manuka is turning ino a decent place to watch sport. Night time in April might be challenging. The exact opposite to last Sunday.stinger wrote:whats with.."coming to canberra"..???...do you live there....???White Winmar wrote:You're coming to Canberra to see a cheetah, 3GS? Re: Anyone going to Canberra?
WOuld love to but that gane is on my wedding anniversary so I am pretty sure that I won't be at the game. THe irony is that I will be in Canberra oin the 11th and the 12th for work, and would normally stay over an extra night for the game........

War memorial would be on my agenda- which other - with limited time- and allowing for coffee time- would be the next 'must visit' spot
and where's the best coffee- to reduce the search time. in Manuka. near oval

Re: Anyone going to Canberra?
Make your partner an offer too hard to refuse....a chance to celebrate your anniversary with fellow forumites( that will be something: Stinger, Bigmart, P66 may be Eastern and Loris thrown in there) and finish off the celebration with a romantic dinner and night at a 5 star establishment in the nation's capital...True Believer wrote:WOuld love to but that gane is on my wedding anniversary so I am pretty sure that I won't be at the game.
