Roll on round 4

QUOTE(Noddy @ Feb 16 2013, 08:43 PM)
It sounds rediculously biased but everything about Goddard is so much more suited to Essendon than StKilda:
His natural class is more suited to a club that has won sixteen flags as opposed to one,
His combination of arrogance and confidence got a few people offside at StKilda, those qualities are embraced at Windy Hill,
His aggression to the point of being nasty reminds me of Big Roger, Merv Neagle, Mark Harvey and Dimma,
He has big game performer written all over him and let's face it which of his two clubs play in more big games,
Goddard is already more Essendon than just about our entire list (aside from those that have it in their bloodlines).
Hopefully he will become a premiership player with us and ensure that he is primarily remembered as a Bomber.
Only a club like Essendon can truly allow BJ to be BJ and I believe we will see his absolute best in the next couple of years.
Love him!
Not even a drug scandal will stop his right of passage with our great club.
Can see him rip it up on Anzac Day
What a wanker !

Re: Roll on round 4
That just about sums up a lot of Bummer supporters that I've met. High brow tossers that think they are above all else.
The positive side is it makes it all the more enjoyable when they fall from grace.

Why do people even go on their site. Do you also stab yourself in the hand before you go to sleep? What would you expect on their site?

Re: Roll on round 4
So BJ is more naturally a Bomber than a Saint?
That's cool.
We have Seb Ross and Sam Dunell and both seem totally suited to St. Kilda. Indeed i doubt whether either of those boys would have the stomach to play for Essendon

I don't disagree- all of his less appealing attributes suit them. Arrogance, greed, petulance, selfishness, softness, cheap shot taking, moodiness. Sounds like a bomber. Only thing is he claims natural class? Where is the evidence of a huge amount of that at the Bombers?

It amazes me that after one NAB cup game he's their saviour. He got most of his possessions in the back half of the ground. It will be a different story round 1 when he has to deal with tags. I still remember Jordie McKenzie getting under his skin.

Every now and then I have al look at Nicks filth forum. There is some quite funny post on there mainly to do with hanging s*** on Carlscum. I was pissing myself the other day, reading predictions for 2013. Some inventive stuffborderbarry wrote:I cant think of any reason to go to an opposition site. You must be very bored Tony74.

Re: Roll on round 4
No it won't. He'll still be gathering plenty of possies on the half back flank because he's an excellent player there. But no player ever inspired their team to a flag from there. Obviously the Bombers think he can. But IMO they have spent their cash on the wrong players... Goddard... and Hurley, who isn't the elite CHF that they want him to be.StGoddard18 wrote:It amazes me that after one NAB cup game he's their saviour. That's what I meant, but I didn't quite type it correctly. What I mean is he won't win much ball in the middle.Richter wrote:No it won't. You have to admit he came pretty bloody close. Close enough that you can't claim nobody ever will.Richter wrote:He'll still be gathering plenty of possies on the half back flank because he's an excellent player there. But no player ever inspired their team to a flag from there.

Greedard is an arrogant, lying, selfish, money grubbing prick who has not had a good game for about 3 years. Seems a perfect fit for Essendope to me

Round 1 is the same as Round 1 last year - an interstate game against a crap side.SainterK wrote:Bring on Rd 1...
So nice of the AFL to do that to us two years running.
Maybe we can win this time though!

We may have found the imposter.
Or, there may be many Noddy's.

BJ, good skilled player, not champion, took a big mark and goal in a Grand Final draw, bad attitude when beaten to the ball. Looking forward to our new blokes making their mark this season.
