Well when I was a kid it was to look around and grab a few of the empty large -sized steel Fosters cans....which I then used to stand on in the outer to see the game better.

Balancing exercises. Good for the core and the brain. I use them with my older clients in particular, to great effect. The younger you start, the better. I also used to stand on cans to get a better view. My mates and I also had the ritual of cardboard "tobogganing" down the grass slope out the back of the scoreboard at Moorabbin. Huge fun!

At the Spencer Hotel? That would have been before my time. I started going there in 2008 with a mate who loves good food and wine.

The owner was a Swans fan and the last time I went there was the final we lost in 2011. It was closed at the beginning of last season.

I had some good and interesting times there.

to make sure im home in time for the game
if not
to record it and to not find out the result

make some popcorn or some crispy chicken strips with dipping sauce, depending on mood
then poor a chivas or a jameson for each qtr of the game

exciting life we lead over here

I don't agree, the dressing room is always far too crowded and it all gets a little tacky.

The owner of the spencer also owns one of my locals in Mt Dandenong, is a ripping bloke and was good enough to give me a few free beers after that 2011 swans finial. He did enjoy telling me all about the game thou.

Yep, he was a nice friendly bloke. He once gave us his access one tickets one Sat night against Freo in 09 who we smashed. I heard he was opening up a pub somewhere in the country.
