Ted Hall
Was bored today so was looking up AFL tables and saw an interesting stat. Ted Hall played 73 games for our club and won one game. Some sort of record that is. Anyone come up with other interesting or uninteresting recrds our players or club holds.
I thought I would Hally a ring about the game he won. Said it was some sort of party after that win. They had it at Stingers house and it went off.

More to the point...it seems like they feed off each other as they "race' to 30.000 posts, not much in it if it's a contest...80 posts is all....P66 could knock that off in one day...kosifantutti wrote:Yet another installment in your "Stinger is old" jokes.plugger66 wrote:Was bored today so was looking up AFL tables and saw an interesting stat. Will we pick up a player in the SSP window
Re: Ted Hall
Dean Anderson played exactly 150 games and kicked exactly 100 goals. That's pretty uninteresting.plugger66 wrote:Anyone come up with other interesting or uninteresting recrds our players or club holds.

Thanks for that. Glad you shared that with us. And I still say you couldnt have any mates. In hindsight they would know what type of person you are.
Re: Ted Hall
One in seventy three games ? Tallies with my supporting in the eighties !
I'm not sure why some posters see the title and who began the thread and still comment how boring it is.
I would have thought if you don't like the poster or the thread then don't read it. All these petty vendettas
are so childish. "You have no friends so NER ", please grow up.

Was his only win our first? The one we won on protest?
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Missed that game with a slight calf injury. 1901 against the Blues.

I also know you've never posted about footy in 30,000 posts, another valuable contributor...

Re: Ted Hall
Wasn't our first win in 1900 against Melbourne? By one point after a protest, iIRC. If that was the only win he played in, he wouldn't have even gotten to sing the song, if they did it in those days. I think the game you missed with a calf, was our second ever win.plugger66 wrote:White Winmar wrote:Was his only win our first? The one we won on protest?

Bobmurray - the current post count started in March 2004.
Supposedly the forum existed well before then in different forms.
A lot of dummyspitters have left since then.

Pretty sure I was talking about Ted and not me. I sould have started with the word He or Ted not to confuse some people.

Re: Ted Hall
My mistake. Thought you were making a self-deprecating, age related joke. I take it Ted comfortably holds the record of the worst win-loss ratio of all time. Anyone know who holds the record for most games played without a win? Probably one of the early saints, I would imagine.White Winmar wrote:Wasn't our first win in 1900 against Melbourne?
