Savatage seemed very adamant recently that Hickey had no.1, TDL no.8, Lee no.9, White 18, Saunders 35, Pierce 42 and Wright and Murdoch in 30 and 34, one way around or the other. I think based on a signed jumper that he had actually seen first hand.

Feel like Wright got shafted. 1st draft pick and gets 34. What a wank.
Often if there isn't another high number available (and lets not forget that while Wright was taken first in the draft for us, Hickey, TDL and Lee were added to the list before him) they can give them a highish number and then when another lower number becomes available in the next year or two, they can then make the move up at that time. Eg. CJ is probably in his last year, so next year no.4 may become available and Wright may move up to that number then.

there is a possibility that next year we could see #4 #7 #23 #27 and #44 all become available...
