The thing with Worsfold is he surrounds himself with lots of quality people and he is not egotistical enough to not allow them to put in their opinions ... Some coaches only want their assistants to tell them specifics Worsfold fills his coaches box with multiple head coaches who he manages together the best outcome again a coach is only as good as the cattle as we saw with their 2010 team

In fact, I have never heard of 2 coaches negotiating a trade together.

So I think Crackers is showing why people call him that.
100% correct ... The coaches coach the team the list managers build for them ... It's a bit like the bs about Scott tuning the club to WA centric
100% correct in theory, not in practice. In our case, it certainly appears that Watters has zilch involvement in trades, but does that also apply to Worsfold?

I obviously don't know how each individual club operate cons trade week, but do you really think the likes of Lyon just twiddle his thumbs and waits to see what team the football department build?
As I've mentioned in a previous thread, it is pretty naive to think that coaches aren't involved in the trading process. They may not actually negotiate, but they will certainly have a big say on who will be traded in or out. The whole list management thing is a combined effort .....Pelchen and Bains may be doing the negotiating.....but SW would have had a massive say in who/what was required.

It is in the drafting of the u/18 types that the recruiters have the say.

And in reference to the thread title....yes I believe it was a significant issue....you can say what you like about Crackers....but he does get some good mail...

Extra! Extra! Read all about it......no I don't want to read about it anymore!!!
