In the permission to train list we have Cockie and Sikora but no Myke Cook -is he nominating for the draft? He would be on my list for sure. Sikora would be a handy rookie list ruck for someone in case a player goes down. I'm not sure we could fit him in though.

I am impressed by the size of lever - (if thats him !?) standing in the middle slightly to the left - he is broad across the back

the other day Cook was included.
Sandringham players who will train with the Saints include
Sikora, Cockie, Cook, Coleman Michilaides

and yes he has been listed by some as being in the draft..-

For those wondering why Myke Cook isnt training with Saints even though was previously listed to, its cos the rules say that because he went to state screening he is not allowed to train at any club before the draft. Pretty disappointing for him and a s*** result all round.

That's crap- I know we have no more right to our Sandy boys than anyone else but you feel a little bit of ownership anyway. Cook is probably deserving of a spot on a list and if Magner got a go last year you would think Cook will get a go somewhere. He probably won't come to us as I think Watters has Cockie in his sights and can't grab both but I like Cook's style.

Sorry I will try not to have an opinion on anyone else as it is obviously not the right place to suggest additions to the st kilda football club list. The players I have said would be worth looking at were.

Jayden Post because he fills a need as a full back and he's at an age that he can play now.
Hickey I didn't want to pay overs for but we did anyway.
I suggested that we might look at Lee.
Several others I mentioned we should look at- doesn't mean we will see anything that they add to the team. just think some players leaving other clubs could add something to our list especially after losing goddard and Gram in one go.
Other than that I have said I like a heap of kids in the draft because we will need to get some players because of the AFL list rules. My favourites that are likely to be around still are Colquhoun and Rodda as they both are players that play positions we have to fill.

Given the carry on over the last month about who we signed, should have signed and could have signed it would have been Benny Hill. :D

McEvoy looks to have put on some size through the trunk, which will help him greatly against the bigger rucks who have pushed him around. Stanley looks much thicker through the shoulders as well, most likely for pushing away defenders - he may be our planned FF for 2013.

It's good to see they're getting away from the super-slim and durable yet weak Misson/Lyon conditioning. We didn't have many injuries, but the players really struggled to win contested ball and make tackles stick when they're built to be endurance athletes with little muscle mass.
