He reminds me of Sam Fisher because he looks laid back but just seems to keep going at the ball over and over. I can see him hitting the midfield and tearing it up in a few years he sort of has that Andrew Swallow look and something similar there in his game. With Gram gone he might be a handy player in a few years, he might even be able to do a Dyson Heppel and play pretty early off a back wing as he's a fairly solid kid.
I like too. Is a young one too so lots of development left.

And if that is the case, Daniher and Viney will go before our picks. Tippett will providing he goes in the national draft. Thats 3 further places we move up in terms of choice. Still I doubt that the AFL will take their picks away this year. Time is running out

As it stands do we have 4 picks and Dunnel elevation or 5 and Dunnel?

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Currently it is 5 + Dunnell.

I still think there is a chance Curren could be elevated, which would give us 4 + a rookie pick + Dunnell + Curren.

I also think there still might be a delisting or two!

I'd love to see.

25. SAM COLQUHOUN (MID/DEF) / NICK GRAHAM (MID/UTIL)
26. TOM CLURY / TANNER SMITH (BOTH KPD)
41. ANDREW BOSTON (MID/FWD) / JACKSON THURLOW (MID/DEF)
44. AIDEN CORR / HARLEY WALSHE / NICK RODDA / MICHAEL CLOSE (ALL KPD)
77. ADAM COCKIE / (R/U) TOM CURREN (BOTH MID)
95. (R/U) SAM DUNNELL (MID/FWD)

We wont want more than 4 picks so it require some upgrades for us to delist more I would think.

Taking into account the spots of the other clubs, our pick 77 is going to be about pick 65. And if Adelaide and/or Melbourne lose any draft picks it will improve again. Considering the best player taken in the draft in recent years was taken with pick 75, I dont see why we would not use this 5th pick.

I wouldn't be surprised if we free up two spots for Cockie & Sikora. Maybe Cockie on the primary list & Sikora on the rookie list or both rookies!

Apologies but I find draft speculation to be completely pointless. Not only we do we not know how many picks we will use , we don't know who we will get and won't know if they r any good for years.

Brett Anderson ‏@BrettAndersonIF
St Kilda has shown plenty of interest in South Freo youngster Marvin Warrell. Won the BOG medal in the WAFL Colts GF win. #AFLDraft

No, but certainly something that will fire a few of our posters up based on previous comments regarding blokes from Scotty's home town.

Like Zephaniah Skinner he can play so they will take the risk hoping he's more Nicky Winmar than Sean Charles.

He knows where the goals are on grand final day. 8 goals in the past 2 GF's is a great effort. Wasn't Cuz also a skinny unknown from South Freo when we drafted him?

I am absolutely convinced we will pick up a 21 year old tall defender in the middle of the draft.

What about getting a forward and playing him as our KPB such as Marco Papparone -elite endurance or Spencer White -tall and agile?
