St Kilda announce 4 new directors

Wow.
People question the club.
And then we go and attract one of the best legal minds in Australia (Jack Rush QC), one of the most well-connected businessmen in the Asia-Pacific (Russell Caplan) and a woman who is very successful former Olympian and businesswoman (Danni Roche). And the other bloke ain't bad either (former Managing Partner of PWC Paul Kirk).
Excellent additions.
With Westaway stepping down next year, I would predict that either Paul Kirk or Russell Caplan will take over as President.
This is easily the best board in terms of corporate connections and business management experience that we have had for a long time.

Not only that the club appears to be much more open and willing to engage supporters with connections.Dr Spaceman wrote:Very hard to disagree with you LegendaryLegendary wrote: This is easily the best board in terms of corporate connections and business management experience that we have had for a long time.

Re: St Kilda announce 4 new directors
Ross Levin and John Gdanski have both been on the board for a decade, both are stepping down.oh when the wrote:Which directors left
We have added 2 new directors as well as replacing those two, but Westaway is finishing up in February and possibly one other director may stand down at the same time (8 is about the right number for a football club).

Paul KJirk has worked in insolvency most of his life and is a passionate Saints man. He is one tough son of a bitch so should be good for the club.

Re: St Kilda announce 4 new directors
I believe someone stepped down prior to last/this years meeting or early in the year,- so there is one replacement.Legendary wrote:Ross Levin and John Gdanski have both been on the board for a decade, both are stepping down.oh when the wrote:Which directors left

Re: St Kilda announce 4 new directors
You can bet someone will want them sacked come this time next year.
But seriously, this is terrific and the club, despite being located so far away in Seaford is attracting great talent both on and off the field.
Club will turn a profit this year too, I believe.
