Stickies suggestion a banned topic?
Just wondering why the other thread was locked?
Might be good if the faceless mods could jot a short note when closing an active thread which contains no offensive material?
Like many, I have contributed money to the running of this site, so I think that we deserve the right to at least converse about how we think it could run better, even if our requests can't be done.
Are we allowed to do that, big brother?

Saintsational policy.
Any thread that gets to 25 posts without the usual suspects hurling abuse at each other is automatically shut down.

Perhaps we should have a bad suggestion sticky, where people can discuss where to hide the important notices so no one will see them. Something needs to be done before SS related repetitive stress injuries bankrupt the health system in this country.
Also a sticky where we can criticise the Orwellian nightmares who donate their time to administer this site for not listening to us about the proliferation of unnecessary stickies.

I appreciate the time that people donate to 'administer' the site,
I don't really appreciate them shutting down perfectly reasonable threads for no apparent reason, with no explanation, do you?

At what point was my mocking unclear? The other thread got what it deserved. I support our mods 1000% and thank them for allowing me access to the secret forum. They owe us nothing. We owe them everything.dragit wrote:I don't really appreciate them shutting down perfectly reasonable threads for no apparent reason, with no explanation, do you?
