Cruize Garlett
He is someone we should definitely chase IMO.
He will come cheap and is a tough young player.
I don't believe that he will ONLY go to Perth. If we offer him a decent contract, we could snaffle a real bargain.

I could definitely imagine him playing alongside Saad in the forward pocket role. Milne will retire soon. Garlett is only 23 years old.
He's a good tackler, and can apply real forward pressure to lock the ball in the forward half.
Can rotate through the midfield.
Can kick a goal.
He is young and we wouldn't have to give away much.
Would add real depth to our midfield and forward line.
I remember hearing that he was racking up an enormous number of possesions in the VFL, but he couldn't crack it in the seniors.
Perhaps wasn't a favourite with the coach.
Don't be surprised to hear that he joins us, and if he does, I will welcome him with open arms.

Re: Cruize Garlett
There's also the Dean Laidley connection.
Laidley gave him his debut when he was coach of the Roos.

Jason Blake would have got a few more votes with a name like that.Dr Spaceman wrote:Can we just recruit his name?

Great name.
Worth a look given Milney and Schneids are coming to the end.
(I know schneids is only 28 but i just get the felling he is a guy that wont go on forever and will retire young)

Not big on blokes with made up or mis-spelt names. idiotic haircuts or facial piercings!
Glad we didn't go for Wellingham on a couple of counts.
