I think we should go hard for Brown, but I'm getting more and more confident that deal will be done considering it doesn't seem like he'll be able to be convinced to play another year in the WAFL. And agree with Hickey - but they said Caddy was worth two first round picks, then dropped their asking price to one. They said that Hickey was worth a first round pick, which they'll probably drop their price to...a second round pick! Which is what we were apparently going to pay from the beginning.

Frawley would be the only player I could justify spending 13 on. But my excitement pre trade week for Caddy and Frawley is all but diminished... Stevens is no way better than Caddy will be but he does that the potential to become a very good player over time.

Even Ray and 13 wouldn't get the deal done.

Best we can hope for is Cripps & 24 for Stevens and Brown.

That, with Stringer, Macrae or Menzel for pick 13 and I would be relatively satisfied. I still reckon we should try to steal a Geelong player... offer big dollars to Menzel or Duncan... Surely they can't have so many young guns... 2. 24 for Jacobs

3. 34 for Hickey.

Pugsly may be right on frawley but we definitely did have talks with him so there was more to it than just speculation on this forum.
