We Are On The Move
What a difference a day makes. In the first day of the official free agency Mitch Brown says he wants to come to the Saints and we pick up 21 year old Tom Lee from Claremont. I reckon there is a lot to like about this kid. He is tall (195cm) mobile, athletic key positional player forward or back but probably better on the forward line. Drafted by the Crows but couldn't cut the mustard. Returned to WA and had a break out season this year in the WAFL. Much fitter and stronger than when he was a 17 year old at the Crows. Bagged six in the Foxtel Grand Final and was one of the stars. Kicked 60.20 for the year so he knows how to kick a goal. Can take a strong contested mark so he ticks a lot of boxes and was obviously on Watters radar, a man who obviously likes to keep his hand in everything WA. Lee could slot in the backline if need be but will probably be used as an eventual replacement for a Kosi who turns 30 next year. I also have a feeling in my water that we have got Hickey. If we have, that is also great news. There's a lot to like about Hickey as well. The rumour is we offered him a three year deal. Maybe we can still get Caddy ??????? Love to nick him off the pussies. Now that would be too good to be true but stranger things have happened in this silly, silly post season.

Agree with your post.
One smallish correction - Lee kicked 6 in the Semi but only 1 in the GF.
Paul Medhurst kicked 6 in the GF.

I still reckon Caddy is overrated, we can pick up someone just as good, if not better with pick 13.

Re: We Are On The Move
It's sad, but we must move forward. I think it's pretty exciting myself.SMS wrote:ray goddard and cripps gone
