i certainly didn't want him just very sad to see the Dees getting deserted by their high picks. So far they have nearly certainly lost

that's a big amount of players to want out even assuming that the middle ones are more than likely to stay unless the Dees get what they want for them.

Farren ray and a packet of chips to remember him I say.Con Gorozidis wrote:How would people feel about a direct swap of Leigh Montagna for James Frawley?
Re: James Frawley trade update
I hear where you're coming from. To be honest I got a bad vibe from Mark Neeld when he first came into the club. Seemed like he playing the rough of "tough prick", with some big outlandish statements. I don't think he has endeared himself to the media & in my opinion to a lot of the players. We may be seeing evidence of that through this - but by the same token, they have so many garbage footballers running around that haven't deserved games looking for opporunities elsewhere. Not sure how successful that will be.gringo wrote:savatage wrote:He is an absolutely terrible footballer though Gringo. My gut feel is we will keep Ray - just because of his age.gringo wrote:Farren ray and a packet of chips to remember him I say.Con Gorozidis wrote:How would people feel about a direct swap of Leigh Montagna for James Frawley?

But we get rid of Joey. Makes sense.

Re: James Frawley trade update
My gut feel is the list is too heavy on players >28 and weak in 22-28.
Pelchen has already sought to recitfy this by:
Swapping draft picks for Saad and Milera.
Placing Sam Dunell on Rookie List
Letting BJ go for pick 13
I expect he will definitely further seek to rectify this issues by going after another player in the 20-26 group.
If he forced to lose another player >28. he might be tempted. Not saying he will want to. But he will consider it if it comes up

Joey just did the opposite of BJ and accepted less coin to stay with us, he would probably refuse to move if we pulled the rug out from under him.

Re: James Frawley trade update
Agree, would be very annoyed if Joey was traded out. He stuck to the model the club want to use as far as payments go so it would be pretty crook if they traded himdragit wrote:Joey just did the opposite of BJ and accepted less coin to stay with us, he would probably refuse to move if we pulled the rug out from under him.
I love this club

Re: James Frawley trade update
So, I was smoking some bongs last night with this random pinhead in a half way house in the Cross.
He reckons that the Frawley trade is most definitely on.
Our second rounder plus a fringe. CJ's name was mentioned.
It's on baby.
It's on!
Really seedy mix it was too. Had to pull out the stoker far too often.

Is no news news? Why haven't the Melbourne football club come out and denied the Frawley rumour and why haven't the saints said it wasn't true, no-one has said anything. Silence can say a lot sometimes.

Because the MFC dont care about rumours on BF, SS or demonology.

No they dont. Maybe the Saints should put something out saying Joey, Chips or Dal arent leaving even though Con said they may.

What a crock of s***, there is absolutely no way Joey will be traded nor any other of our top 10 playersCon Gorozidis wrote:My gut feel is the list is too heavy on players >28 and weak in 22-28.

Re: James Frawley trade update
No trades can be completed yet, so why let the cat out of the bag concerning the media? That'd be back page news and it could start a bidding war unless we spring it on them. Rumour or truth I believe it wont be dealt with until trade week actually begins...andrewg wrote:Or do they.........plugger66 wrote:andrewg wrote:Is no news news?
