Trade Bait
Do not be surprised if the Saints put any of the following on the trade table:
Montagna Dal Gram Fisher Schneider
Montagna Dal Gram Fisher Schneider

Why would they? The only possible 2 who could be are Gram and Schneider. Doubt anyone would want Gram though. No hope of Joey, Dal or Fisher.

I think Gram & Schneider may be offered up, but seriously doubt the other 3.
I think Ray, Jones & Ledger may be offered up & of course Cripps if he decides to leave.

Re: Trade Bait
I would be shocked if Sam Fisher was put up. Can't see that. Not with our backline already needing a KPD. Fisher loves the club and his close proximity to horse racing stables.
Nor Monty, seeing how he has just signed.
I have my doubts they would put up Dal. He is a prized clubman and we need footskills.
I'm not sure Schneids would have much currency left.
Just my .02 worth

At least you were only .02 when you posted, Con was clearly at least 0.1.
Re: Trade Bait
Imagine Fish and Gwilts footy next year if we can secure a big defender...
No thanks to putting Fish on the table.

Re: Trade Bait
Before Monty signed I would have agreed that he was trade bait
Gram possibly
I would be shocked if Schneider is traded, he is a class player and always makes the right decisions.
Dal and Chips no chance

Re: Trade Bait
So pretty much choose our 5 biggest names, minus our 2 older guys in Lenny and Milney as their value will be minimal, and make up a trade thread...
Load of rubbish..

Re: Trade Bait
Don't get cocky I heard strong rumours that Dal was on offer at one stage. It maybe that that was if Brendan signed for less and stayed though.

Agree totally, especially about Schneider who is one of our best ball users.SaintSimmo wrote:Before Monty signed I would have agreed that he was trade bait

Re: Trade Bait
This can't be serious.
Fisher and Montagna?.....FISHER????????????????????seriously! Unlike 'he who shalt not be named' these two when signing their new contracts simply said, "the saints gave me my start why would I leave my mates and a club that supported me.?" They are Saints for life!!! I will admit I was a little off Joey at the start if 2012 but will never speak ill of him again.
Maybe gram but even he can be a very valuable outside runner and highly unlikely another team will take on his overpriced contract.
Trade bait IMO Jones, Ray, Raph maybe Cripps but got the feeling club wants to keep him, that's it. Unless it is for a big name and the only one is Frawley pretty sure the rest are safe. Maybe Farren and pick 12 for Frawley?? Would be happy with that.
