But I think he would come reasonably cheaply and if used just as the third tall forward, could be pretty effective.

Sure has..................................... Eagles off loaded him with first drug scandal. That was in the era of Cousins, Flechter, el al. Also remember Edwards was caught on the police phone tapes (re the shooting in the Perth nighclub), talking with Daniel Kerr about that veterinary drug (K something) they had been taking.

Edwards wasn't a regular in their team so he was shunted off very quickly. Kept the rest of the drug suspects as they needed to win a premiership.

IMHO don't need to pursue him.
