A fair few posters there think that Hawksley has had a rough deal at Brisbane.
Seems to be a medium sized player who has played as a half back, mid and half forward.

Not sure why we'd need another medium flanker. We already have far too many 'not quite KP' defenders as well as Gram, Siposs, Dunell, Ray, Newnes and Winmar.

Sounds like he'd free up Raph and Kosi from whipping boy duties. Does sound like an under sized half forward which I'm not sure we need but also a run and carry player. Maybe O Keefe has made those types fashionable again

Let's pump games into our boys that have already shown something. If some turn out to be poor choices then so be it. At least we find out a year or two earlier compared to 4-5 years of nothingness 'in the system'.
