Loving or Loathing October?
NOTE- this is not a St Kilda Publication
I already dislike October because of trade and delist periods..
but will 2013 have me loving or Loathing May as well

Interesting. Everything the club is doing lately smacks of desperation.
This could be quite awkward.

it must be noted this is NOT a club publication- it's AFL and had a discussion with someone from the club recently about the difficulties they face when independants make selectionsOneEyedSainter77 wrote:Interesting. Everything the club is doing lately smacks of desperation.

last year was Zac. the year before Luke.

what desperation? because they have a calendar that has BJ on the cover? It would look worse and make more comment if he was not on there.

My apologies. Was not aware of that.saintbrat wrote:it must be noted this is NOT a club publication- it's AFL and had a discussion with someone from the club recently about the difficulties they face when independants make selectionsOneEyedSainter77 wrote:Interesting. Had it been a club thing what I meant by desperation is putting him on the calendar thinking it lets BJ know that they (the club) support him and they are on board. It just seems desperate if they are using that to get him to stay. So does offering a 28 yr old whose best is probably behind him 1.9 million on a new 3 yr contract.
I can't help but feel like the club has a bigger plan in mind though.
To be honest, as long as it isn't Carlton or Essendon I don't really care where he ends up.

I think from memory Freo had a Callander come out one year with Clive Waterhouse on the front cover two years after he was delisted !!!

I love the trade, draft and delist periods.....
When the team fails it needs to evolve, out with the spuds, in with the world beaters...

Love the excitement of drafts, the occasional delisting of dead wood. The anticipation of trading.
