The trend of this game rings a bell with me. Dockers unable to deliver the knock-out blow and reverting to desperate defence.

I actually hope they get up, but not for Ross's sake.

Dunno the relevance.

This is Freo just after half time - we are all speculating from here.

Dont get me wrong -love to see em get run over but just saying they have done ok with Pav at zip.

They can't score. When their superstar can't dominate, they're impotent offensively.

Very, very familiar.

True but not many sides do?

I mean Pies look far more ominous when Cloke kicks 5

That's true this year. And I think that's why they're no longer a genuine flag threat.

But since their 3 goal burst in the first 10 minutes, after dominating clearances, they've only kicked 5 goals! That's textbook Ross Lyon.

Sanderson must be a dud too… if he didn't have a superstar in Walker kick 5 goals they would have lost comfortably?

I don't think Lyon is a dud.

I just don't think his football philosophy/game plan works.

The way he reacted to the Zac Clarke 50 would suggest that you wont see Clarke in a Freo jumper again.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Yet, you backed the dockers to win this week and to win the flag… good stuff.

I sit back tonight, completely pleased that Lyon moved on.

It means Freo can't win a flag, and it vindicates our club's decision to pressure him in regards to his game plan.

I took the 250-1 for the flag so I could lay it off. They were morals to make the 8, so getting 250-1 in an 8 horse race is good value!

As for this week, they absolutely should have won! If their coach had a plan b in relation to scoring, they would have!

We've just seen RL at his stubborn best the same shite which cost us games.
He refused to make the move with Silvagni on Walker, but then again he wouldn't have wanted to expose Dawson especially one on one with Walker!!!!

Also question the inclusion of Zac Clarke, WTF, it's a questin we'll never know the answer to because RL never justifies his mistakes!!!!

Look at the hate for Ross. Absolute laughing at all these posters. Ross is evil, cant coach, his gameplan is crap. Hence his record, hence Freo making the semi finals. Abosulute Nimbats.

That's not true. Contract offer did not change in the last fotrnight prior to him boarding the plane.

Def was JB...

Says the info was passed onto him by a forumite in the know IIRC but as was told to him in confidence, won't reveal the source.

Respectable enough IMO

This could be very well true and I have heard the same thing but RL and mates would say that to put him in a good light. Unless you talk to everyone involved it's impossible to know what exactly transpired and that's not going to happen.

Never before have I ever backed the Crows in a game, but I did last night and the sole reason was the Dockers coach.

No loyalty to the St Kilda Football Club and in 2012 and beyond none given back.

...so suck s*** and die ross you traitor.... :D :D :D :D

...i saw that our fearless saints supporting editor of inside footy stated this week that ross was the best tactical coach of them all at the moment.......bullsh!t russell, bullsh!t...you have been sucked in....drank out of his bathtub so to speak.......a good tactical coach...even an average one....would not have left a very ordinary footballer in silvagni on tex walker...cost freo the match that one.......good....no....f****** great......
