Good listen.

If only he could mark overhead, we would have got a couple more seasons out of him. He was in the mould of the Minton-Connell type FF's and one of the last purely lead-up forwards in the game.

Loved the ball in his hands though...Brilliant in '97.

then teams learn't he could only mark on the lead , after that he was a passenger .

I remember a game in Perth in 98 when Stan went right off at him. He was a vg finisher but wasn't good at the one percenters.

That was a problem when you can only play one position. Also, a bit one paced.

Heater was great for a bit, but then he stopped marking with his hands. It's much easier for defenders to spoil if you're trying to take chest marks all the time. It was a shame, for he was a great kick.

guy didn't train

came back in 98 pretty much in the exact same physical state as 97

could have been anything

I used to have a big "24" sign attached to the flu of our wood heater.


The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules. 
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
