What I want to see in 2013
1. A mature aged recruit tall defender = best available defender over 194cm aged 21-26.
2. Stanley as a Key fwd (who can play ruck when required)
3. Siposs continued to be used as the quarter back in defence to utilise his kicking skills and general utility.
4. More games from Cripps and Newnes
5. Wilkes to bulk up and become a tank. Used as the 3rd banana key fwd close to goal.
6. Rooeys knee to hold up again - and maybe we use him more spraringly during the year if we are going to need him for finals.
7. A high (1st round) draft pick used on a young key fwd under 19 yo.
8. Bigger bodies for Saad, Tezza, Ferg and Dunell.
9. A bit more from Big Mac and Jack.
10. Gwilty and Fisher back in form.

Is that all?
I would like to see us trade for Buddy, Dangerfield & Natanui
Delist 10 players, draft 5 ready made guns.
Recruit 50,000 members.
Move our training base to the botanical gardens.
Have Lenny canonised.
Full strength beer available whenever I feel like one, not just when/where Andrew says.
Oh I nearly forgot, a premiership.

I'd like half naked girls to parade around the boundary line with placards above their head that indicate what quarter is coming up next, like in the boxing.
It's a dead set brilliant idea.

Re: What I want to see in 2013
if we are serious about contending we need to scrap wilkes. we need a key back and key forward, which i put in another thread i would like to see us go for mitch brwon at wc. i am not sure who to go for in the way of key forward but we need a good lead up target deep i don't think that suits the way stanley plays so i recommend we get another player either a mature age recruit or via the trade table. i would be stoked if we could find a big bodied 18 year old in the draft like darling's size. but prob dreaming there lol
saints for the flag armitage for rising start

Good call, can totally see Wilksey turning into a gorilla forward if he blooms late and plays on to his early thirties.

What about Derek Kickett, he's been in as good a paddock as Jarman, they could be a 2 pronged set up...ROLS-LEE wrote:And grab Jarman as well. He is s gorilla nowdaysdragit wrote:Why not both, what is Tony Modra doing these days? Probably still fit from surfing?plugger66 wrote:
