At last we break through of our rut

Post: # 1258636Post dcstkfc »

After Round 2: 1 win 1 loss
R4 2-2
R6 3-3
R8 4-4
R10 5-5
R12 6-6
R15 7-7
R17 8-8
R19 9-9
R21 10-10
R23 12-10

Too late, if only we'd pinched a couple of the winnable ones, but at least a youthful side has won 2 in a row to end the season and there is something to build on. We finish ahead of the ledger, with as many wins as last year, albeit with a softer draw and less key injuries.

If we beat Port and one of Richmond or Freo and a one of Swans or Collingwood it actually would have been a very good season for us..

I bet "Shtan" was hoping for a Carlton win today, although the bye spoiled the symmetry a bit.

Actually - it would have only taken a win over North or Freo for us to have taken their place in the Finals - they turned out to both be truly 8 point games!!!

Oh the horror!

Don't tell me that. I thought we were two games out but didn't realise the true 8 point games. What a bummer! :x
