Re: Stkilda vs Carlton Match thread
We are playing like s*** - this is why we are losing no other reason - a few bad decisions mean nothing. We are just not competing strongly enough and our disposal has been terrible - even Dempster kicked it out on the full - to give them a goal. - now 15pts down - cmon Saints LIFT! Ooops Goal to Armo 9pts ...
This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

Re: Stkilda vs Carlton Match thread
Thats my reasom too. They have bragged for 30 years about their cash and ability to bind up youth all over Australia. Now welcome to the salary cap and what happens? One premiership since the salary cap and far less enties into the finals than the Saints. No monopoly on the countries youth so the club becomes the biggest bunch of cheats ever.mbogo wrote:I care because i HATE CARLTON ....
If they got the wooden spoon every year for the next 10 years I would be delighted. The only better result would be another Premiership by the Saints.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

Re: Stkilda vs Carlton Match thread
stanley really impresses, still worries me with his thin legs, walking injuries IMO but the kid can play and is starting to learn the position. Our next CHF which is exciting and very similar in how he is a hit up forward like roo so not much change to that. Like sippa off half back, thought jack steven's game was very good and needs to start hitting targets like he did today.
How good will simpkin be with a bigger defender next to him. Best defender at the club.
Really excited about cripps in that final quarter, looks to be a outside runner come half forward. Can he develop a inside roll, we shall see. Ledger was disapointing and would not be suprised to see him get shopped around. Milera and saad will need to work very hard over summer as tey are crucial for this new 2 - 4 forwadline mix.
Look the senior players were average, carlton were out on their feet and only in front because of some crazy umpiring. Not great but pleasing how the youngsters stood up.
Bring on 2013.
PS - If you go BJ, Thankyou.

Re: Stkilda vs Carlton Match thread
equal with dempster as a pure one on one defender. The other two play the cut off role so much better. But as a pure defender his spoil is up with maxy....
