If Blake plays i would suggest it is a goodbye game otherwise there is no point in him playing.

Have to reluctantly agree, you'd think he'd have signed any kind of contract on the table by now.

Darn ... Gilbert was leading in the most played games in succession. I think Dempster will now be leading. Dal Santo may ahve played 100+ consecutive games but he and Milne got dropped by Lyon a few years back

Don't Kosi and Gram have contract clauses for next year?

You think they'd pay them out?

Talked to someone last Saturday who is very good friends with Gram, he will playing next season.
Strangely we haven't heard anything about retirements this year, let's hope we don't have the same farcicial situation as happened last season.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Blake in, Gilbert out IMO. Unless they decide to give Sandy another player or two and send any of Ledger/Newnes/Milera/Cripps back down.

As much as some idolize these players surely we have to move some on to get better...

To me it seems like we don't have anyone who wants to retire. Blake has basically said he'd like to play on but is waiting for the club to make a call.

After the fuss last year there's no way the club will make the mistake again

Probably also helps that the club knows which game will be our last this year.

No; and it's not like there's no one for him to tag.

Does look a bit ominous doesn't it?
