Mitch Brown (wc) just what we need
Hey guys,
Been thinking about our team and what we need in they way of a key defender. He's 195 and 95kg and is 24 and a Victorian and is extremely unlucky to not be playing afl. What do u guys think.
Also heard this morning on kb's show that we might be looking at fev!!

if we are looking at Fev it's because he will get us some wins and comes for free but mitch brown or Tate Pears would be nice if we could get them cheap.big_mac_evoy5 wrote:Hey guys,

Re: Mitch Brown (wc) just what we need
He has only had one bad year with injury and that was last year. Wc are going so well they dropped brennan who has been in great form. So I think we can Mitch brown at a steal hopefully. Watters and mc phew would have seen plenty of him especially McPhee who coach wafl last year

Re: Mitch Brown (wc) just what we need
Yep totally agree i actually said it last week, Mitch or Nathan Brown would be a great result.
I would also love Bellchambers from Essendon, but I know I'm only dreaming on all three counts.
I don't honestly think we'd have anyone that they really need or want, all our stars are all getting on a bit now!!!

Has been at Eagles since 2006 draft, missed 2008 with injury and 2009/2010 missed significant parts due to injury.. What makes him so good that you think he can get over his injury issues and actually stay out on park?big_mac_evoy5 wrote:He has only had one bad year with injury and that was last year. Re: Mitch Brown (wc) just what we need
I would take Mitch Brown in 2 seconds flat if hes still available come 2nd round draft?
I reckon we go :
Pick 20 (or whatever our highest pick is) : Best tall fwd available under 20yo.
Pick 37 (or whatever our 2nd pick is) : Best Tall mature backman available (23-25yo)
Obviously BJ could get us a 2nd pick in the top 25 if he left.

Re: Mitch Brown (wc) just what we need
What has Mitch Brown ever done? He might be the right size, but so are a lot of people. He's never really done much at AFL level, hasn't played a lot of key defence and has lost a lot of time to injuries. I wouldn't trade Markworth or Newnes for him and our 2nd pick is going to be marginally better in this draft. It's also supposed to be a better draft. Right now our first two picks are 10 and 32 and I'd say get the best kids available. Fill short term needs through other avenues.Con Gorozidis wrote:I would take Mitch Brown in 2 seconds flat if hes still available come 2nd round draft?

Have you ever seen Mitch Brown kick a ball??? Please, the last thing we need is another player with poor skills.

I tend to agree, get the best kids and hope the wily old prick Pelchen gets us an unpolished gem from no where. or at least hope Fergo or Beanpole Lever gets on the Lance Armstrong sports drinks.vacuous space wrote:What has Mitch Brown ever done? would we be able to use a compensation pick straight away? don't you have to nominate that you are going to use them at the start of the season?Con Gorozidis wrote:I would take Mitch Brown in 2 seconds flat if hes still available come 2nd round draft?
