Since the Lyon era, our development all seems to have been focussed on players who can perform a role, or can apply defensive pressure. A great strategy for its time - it almost got us there. The time has passed.

Hitting targets and sending it between the sticks has been our main problem since early 2000's.
I believe cost us at least one flag (probably 2)mand a grand final chance in 2004

Scott spoke about this recently battye, about how there was one skills coach, and he has already put in place 4.
Some kids are young enough to probably be taught better, I think Jarryns kicking has been improving significantly, Gilbert even has not been so bad in recent months, seems Grams kicking improvement has gone largely unrecognised.
I don't think he suffers skill errors, Clarke, Peake, Jones, Polo are proof of that.
