Re: Round 19 Team
A young runner, a forward and a big body...pretty good emergency list.
Will be great to see how Dunell goes FT in Adams absence, glad they are not risking him btw.
Anyone got Pies changes?

Re: Round 19 Team
Still think Dunell will be sub. Pies have big bodies so we need the experience of Ray on the ground.

Re: Round 19 Team
agreed. ray doesn't strike me as an amazing sub - he's got the tank to run all day and can do a job, so why waste him on the pine for an hour and a half?plugger66 wrote:Still think Dunell will be sub. Pies have big bodies so we need the experience of Ray on the ground.

Re: Round 19 Team
Saad is lucky Schneider is injured. Doesn't deserve a game.
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
Re: Round 19 Team
Saad was always going to play
Ray will start for the full game, Dunell the sub.
Late change?

Re: Round 19 Team
I dont think there will be any late changes...
think that Faz is a good choice, strong performances, in both AFL and VFL, and will play from the start, as i agree, that he is not an ideal sub...
Saady needs to bring his forward pressure this weekend, in leiu of the tackling machine schnides.... and expect to see beau grinding a few more shoulders into the turf
Good team choice, and now i am PUMPED!!!
BRING ON THE FILTH!!

Re: Round 19 Team
Ray, because of his experience, strong marking capability and bigger body, goes in. Dunell to Sub.
Let's wait and see on Wilkes. I would normally prefer Siposs, but Wilkes ability to also do a relieving ruck role, makes him more versatile for team balance - Kosi can't ruck and be a formidable forward on the big MCG.

wilkes on maxwell and make the turd defend . not sag off to double team roo & kosi . use wilkes as much as possible going forward and make sure he gets himself in dangerous positions .
Re: Round 19 Team
i reckon give dunell a start this week, see if he can make someone accountable in the pies defence. saad sub for mine.Junction Oval wrote:Ray, because of his experience, strong marking capability and bigger body, goes in. Dunell to Sub.

Hi Paddy, I like the way you think about footy tactics - and not just in this post.nobhead wrote:hope ray plays a defensive forward role on shaw stop him running out of our forward line . ray also good mark for his sizepaddy wrote:I dont think there will be any late changes...

Hi NH, same with you... your forum moniker is clearly an ironic one. (Maybe you could consider changing it... there are some others on here who could then adopt it and put it to 'better use'. )
PUMPED!!! BRING ON THE FILTH!!

Scott knows Dunell doesn't have the tank at the moment, he'll be the sub or the subee.bergholt wrote:i reckon give dunell a start this week, see if he can make someone accountable in the pies defence. saad sub for mine.Junction Oval wrote:Ray, because of his experience, strong marking capability and bigger body, goes in. Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

Do the pies have two good small defenders?slider wrote:Saad was always going to play
