Some senior players look tired, could have done with the rest...Lenny in particular...
A kid like ledger could have done with a game, or Ross
The next week Adelaide won didnt they?? Maybe a fresher Lenny wouldn't have been smashed as much by Scotty Thompso ....
Again you are arguing against yourself. Pane you need to stop this arguing just to say I am wrong especially when you actually dont think it. It is funny though.
Don't think that a sloppy belting of a pathetic Bulldogs side means that we don't need significant changes to compete with the top teams. Gram still blindly threw it on the boot in the direction of loose opposition players, Jones did nothing and our forward line was confused and inefficient.
Gwilt has continued to improve defensively and his game wasn't too bad, though he still put teammates under enormous pressure in the few times he kicked in. It's great to see Gilbert really stringing some good games together though; he has been excellent in the past two weeks.

You really need to watch the footy without prejudice. Gram was very good, CJ did his job and Gwilt is improving. I have no idea if you want them out but seeing as you only mentioned them I suppose it seems so. Well all 3, unless injury, will play next week and so they should.

Wilkes and Saad are in a lot more trouble than Gram and CJ will ever be
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
i would play dunnell for the rest of the season
it looks 'unlikey' we'll make the 8, but quite possibly could still if we play VERY well against the good sides
get games into the kid, give him some confidence and let him run and link like he has shown glimpses of doing
then he gets a full preseason into him again with a bit of experience behind him and a real taste for it.
give him full games from the get go
if he tires then he is subbed out
I thought Wilkes did OK actually. He contested well, both in the air and in the ruck. Saad for the second week in a row did very little. He plays his best footy against week opposition, and we have Collingwood this week.

A. Add Dean LAIDLEY as his main mentor and assistant.
Q. Why does Matt PRIMUS look like he is enjoying coaching/football again?
A. Get rid of the most miserable person in AFL - Dean LAIDLEY !
