So what about his WAFL form, the guy is a massive talent and is our answer to our needs.

Re: Zac Clarke
Zac Clarke is the type of player we are looking for. We aren't going after a proven established ruckman because we have no room in our salary cap. We want someone with potential and needs an opportunity where they haven't been able to get it before e.g. Sam Jacobs for the crows.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Should chase Nathan Vardy, Cats have just resigned West and Hawkins is finding good form...try and make him believe his opportunities will be limited at the Cats

Why would they let him even slightly go. If his body comes good he has the rest covered as a ruckman.

Re: Zac Clarke
Agreed. Vardy is good enough up forward that they'll look to play him alongside Hawkins and West. I don't think you could convince him he's better off at St Kilda. We still have Roo and Kosi and he'd be battling with Mac and Rhys for third tall and ruck time. At Geelong he has to battle with Orren Stephenson and Dawson Simpson and I think he's got both covered. Clarke might be less inclined to leave with Sandilands feet perpetually bothering him. Again, I'm not sure he's much better off here.plugger66 wrote:Why would they let [Vardy] even slightly go. My guess is we'll pick up a delisted ruckman for nothing as a free agent. I doubt we go after a recognisable name. All we really need is a backup in case Rhys and Mac go down again. We're not going to give up a quality pick in what's supposed to be a pretty deep draft for a backup.
Yeah nah pleasing positive
Re: Zac Clarke
We've already got a Clarke... and ours is better.
